About
I have been making jewellery since 2011. My designs reflect my love for nature and natural materials, it has given me a chance to use the numerous shells, seeds, acorns that are in most of my coat pockets.
After 10 years as a Staff Nurse I decided to pursue my creativity and studied for a B.Ed in Art & Education. For the next 15 years I was an art coordinator and advanced skills teacher in primary schools.
I set up my first workshop in a small bedroom. But as my skills and confidence grew so did my need for more room. In 2015 I designed a garden workshop which was based on the functional 'bedroom space' but enlarged to incorporate soldering, hammering and forging areas. It has also become a great space to teach my skills to others through workshop days.
A National Trust Supplier
In 2017 I became a supplier to the National Trust which fits well with my ethos of working with and from natural materials.
